The SHT-1 is a replaceable temperature and humidity sensor designed to work with the Termikplus-E thermo-hygrometer and the Termioplus-E data logger.

The sensor uses the renowned SHT-31 element from the Swiss company Sensirion.

This external sensor responds quickly to changes in air humidity and is protected by a filter that shields it from contaminants such as dust and dirt. If the readings from the Termikplus-E or Termioplus-E deviate beyond acceptable limits when compared to a reference standard, the SHT-1 sensor should be replaced with a new one. The plug on the SHT-1 is compatible with the socket on the Termikplus-E and Termioplus-E, allowing for quick and easy replacement.

Each new sensor comes with a verification certificate.

Optimal Operating Conditions:

• Humidity measurements up to 100% RH (condensation should be avoided)
• No direct contact with water
• Avoid aerosols, solvent vapors, strong acids and bases
• Avoid areas with high concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and dust particles

The sensors are sensitive to contaminants that may affect measurement accuracy. It is important to operate them in a clean environment, free of aggressive chemicals and dust, and without direct contact with water.
